The Botany Swarm picked up two consecutive home wins for the first time this season, beating the West Auckland Admirals 5-3 in Sunday's game to take the full six points from their last home weekend of the season.

The Botany Swarm came back with a monster third period to win Saturday's Auckland derby match 7-4 over the West Auckland Admirals.
It was a rollercoaster of a game, with the lead changing several times, and some big hits and huge plays from both sides. The Swarm took an early lead, as Jamie Lawrence scored with 1s remaining on a powerplay, going bar-down with a shot that snuck past Admirals goaltender Csaba Kercso-Magos.

The Dunedin Thunder notched their first win of the season as they beat the Botany Swarm by a final score of 5-4, with the game-winner coming from Gints Leitis in the final minute of regulation of an incredibly hard-fought game.
The Thunder started well, getting on the board early in P1 as Lachlan Frear scored a powerplay goal.

It was scorers in the spotlight across the NZIHL today, and the Botany Swarm did their part to contribute, taking a 9-3 victory at home over the Dunedin Thunder.
The Swarm were first on the board, scoring at even strength as Ritchie Hopkinson and Stephen Mawson combined to get Thunder goalie Villem-Henrik Koitmaa down in the butterfly and knocked the puck in over his pads.

The Botany Swarm have lost Sunday's Toa Kauhanga Riri Tio match to the Canterbury Red Devils, in a rollercoaster of a game which saw multiple lead changes, and a literal last-minute goal for the visitors which won them the game, the points and the trophy.
The Swarm began the game with some strong offensive pressure, but a series of minor penalties for both sides meant that much of the first period was played by special teams, with multiple 4-on-4 shifts.

The Swarm suffered a 5-3 defeat at the hands of the Canterbury Red Devils Saturday night in Botany, as a closely matched back-and-forth game ended in favour of the visitors.
The Devils were first on the board in P1, with a goal coming off a rush. Swarm goaltender Alain Giauque warded off the first couple of shots, but a rebound was collected by Liam Dallimore and he squeezed it in between Giauque’s skate and the post.

This Saturday’s match against the Canterbury Red Devils is a hugely significant one for Botany Swarm veteran forward KC Ball, who will play his 150th NZIHL game in a career which spans 12 seasons.

The Swarm picked up their first regulation win of the year in a wild back and forth game in Dunedin that saw them win by a final score of 7-5.
They had an illustrious start, killing off an early penalty, and following that up with a goal from Teemu Rantanen, who sent a bouncing puck in from the blue line which fooled Dunedin Thunder goaltender Villem-Henrik Koitmaa.

A fast and furious Auckland derby went down to the wire as the Swarm won 5-4 in overtime, for their first win of the year and to take Toa Kauhanga Riri Tio back home to Botany again.
