“I played my last games for Swarm during the 2015 season and am hoping it’s not my last with the team. I am hopeful that someday I still may be able play a few more games during a NZIHL season. I still remain in touch with some of the current players and my wife, Lexi and I made numerous lifelong friends through the New Zealand ice hockey community including the Guest and Hyde families along with many others. Auckland holds a special place for Lexi and I and until the recent COVID pandemic, we visited at least once a year.
After my last season in the NZIHL I took over as General Manager of a Federal Hockey League (Single A Pro) team in Michigan. I still play in the FHL while working full-time during the recent season. I have played around 140 games over the last few years including playing alongside current Swarm forward, Robin Vortanov and former Swarm member, Evan Mackintosh during 2019/2020 with the Delaware Thunder.
I have spent the past four years working for General Motors in multiple roles and am currently a Business Manager working on the upcoming GMC Hummer electric vehicle launch. I am also finishing my Doctorate degree in International Business.
Thanks to all of my past Swarm teammates for the great times we shared together. Good luck to the 2021 team and hopefully I’ll be back at some stage to play alongside you all again”
